-Lie down comfortably or sit in a chair. -Take slow, deep breaths to relax the mind. -Consciously bring your attention to your feet. One foot at a time, observe any sensations in that area. For example, you may notice pain, soreness, or dryness. -Do not judge the sensation, acknowledge it, identify it and release it. -One foot at a time, imagine yourself breathing from your feet and stay with this awareness for a few breaths. -Now move your attention to your shins, calves, knees, thighs, etc. and imagine yourself breathing from that part of the body. -If any parts of your body is experiencing pain or agitation, breath into them a little longer. Give them a little extra attention. -Some other areas you can give more attention to includes the neck, chin, jaw, ears, eyes, forehead, temples, and scalp. We tend to hold extra tension in these spots. -When you feel like you are ready to bring your awareness back to your outer world, be sure to take your time. #Meditationathome #Meditationbringspositivity

4/23/2021 0 Comments Prevent and Avoid Burn Out!!!I hate it when I feel forced to do a task especially one that has become repetitive and monotonous. I find myself bored really easily and my mind wanders a lot. I have worked at a lot of jobs that were repetitive. Your whole day is predictable and nothing exciting happens. If you're anything like me you have probably experienced quite a bit of burn out. Once I understood how energy works, I began to realize that the "burnout" I was feeling was actually my higher self giving me a signal that what I'm doing or how I'm doing things no longer feeds my soul. This may be different for others but this was my experience.
The task was not motivating me or giving me energy to go on. Whatever it was, has served its purpose and it is time to let it go so something can replace it. For every action, there is an equal and opposite reaction (Newton's 3rd Law). Holding on to the old wasn't helping me attract what I needed for progression. Letting go is another skill on its own that some tend to find challenging, but when dealing with burnout having a plan can assist in this process. If work is boring find something to change it up. Plan a raffle or a co-workers night something that will get a positive buzz of positive vibration between you and the people that you spend most of your days with. With the world gone digital there are many tools that can help you find ways to lighten up the work environment. If you are working from home try playing some music before jumping on your screen. If there still is no change in how you feel maybe it's time to explore new career options. You can even start to change by using your physical appearance. You can start easily by changing your hair or picking up something from the mall that you don't have in your wardrobe and It doesn't have to be expensive. It is just the act of giving to yourself that can be a pick me up. There are many videos on YouTube that can help you in the fashion department. We live in the information ages and there are solutions all around us. If you want to change your experience, change the energies that you are using to create the way you are living your life. If you tell yourself something over and over eventually your brain will believe it, so be careful of your self talk. Here are some tips that helped me. 1. Do what you love If you love what you are doing it will bring light inside you soul that you can share with others. 2. Practice self care We often get stuck in a routine and forget about the small things we can do for ourselves to make ourselves happy. Stress relief is important for the whole body. 3. Positive self talk Your brain can be programmed to believe what you tell it. Words carry energy, some words move you, some create fear and slow you down from your purpose. Be mindful about what you are saying to yourself. 4. Have hobbies When you have hobbies it allows you to do things you enjoy which stimulate joy, happiness and excitement. You get to focus on something you love and have passion for. 5. Keep a positive circle No one likes a "Debby Downer". Have people who are optimistic and believe what you believe. We are stronger together than apart. 6. Change what isn't working If it ain't broke don't fix it but if it's broken through it out, this includes people, jobs homes, etc. (let it go with a plan, don't quit your jobs tomorrow, which I have done but with a plan of course) "cough cough" : / 7. Always look on the bright side of things This allows you to be grateful for what you do have. 8. Make new friends See all the personalities this beautiful world has to offer. I have met some wonderful people and had some extraordinary advantages in life just from being friendly. Hope this helps someone out there who is just feeling bored with their daily routines. Have fun and live past your worries and doubts. #Burnout #Selfcare #Heal #Fyp 4/19/2021 1 Comment Breathing TechniqueMindful Breathing Technique
Focus on your breath Observe your thoughts, without dwelling on them or resisting them Calmness and acceptance of the present moment -Sit or lay down comfortably in a chair or on a cushion or mat -Keep your spine straight without arching your back an keep your head neutral -Close your eyes or soften your gaze -Focus your attention on your breathing -Observe how it feels as you inhale and exhale (sensations of the breath as it flow in and out) -Inhale to a count of five and exhale to a count of five -Place your hands on your chest and pay attention to the expansion of your diaphragm as you inhale and the deflation of as you exhale -When thoughts arise, notice and acknowledge them and then return your focus onto your breathing The mind naturally wanders off, so don't be too critical of yourself if this happens to you. Once the thought is acknowledged focus back on your breath. Don't judge the thought just observe it. Once you give it some attention, the distraction is eliminated until your focus is disturbed by another thought. Try not to judge the thought so you don't begin too much inner dialogue within yourself. The goal is attain relaxation and staying present. Try it out and share your feedback. Don't be shy, I'd love to hear from you. #Breathing #Selfcare #Meditationathome #Relaxation 4/18/2021 0 Comments Who taught you how to think?Who taught you how to think and how you should feel? Where did you learn to react? As I become more aware of myself these questions kept repeating over and over and I have little time for ruminating thoughts. For every question the universe has an answer. So, I began to ask the universe to send me answers. I discovered that a lot of my ways of thinking, feeling, responding and being were not of my true self, most was learned behaviour. I found myself pausing and thinking to myself where have I seen this before and who was doing it? Whether it was from a family member, friends, something I saw on TV or a song, I realized a lot of my thinking were not my own authentic beliefs. I also began questioning if I even want to think, act and behave in those ways and is it productive to who I am. Is it my true higher self?
As I continue to grow into my true self I seen that I have a choice, be myself or like someone else. I chose to be me because the cognitive dissonance was causing me anxiety and it was becoming harder for me to live through external programming. We are shown that we must attain material things and status. I have never been overly materialistic so it was hard for me to understand how I am supposed to feel completed by things. I thought if I had the things "they" say brings happiness I would be fine. As I attained more materialistic accolades, I still found myself unhappy. I had to search within to find true happiness. Even when it came to pain and suffering I used to say why me but as I became more aware of my life experiences and what I have gotten from them. I started thinking why not me. Some of my worst experiences brought out the best in me. There are people who are so numb they don't even feel. I know because at one point in my life I was numb. I didn't allow myself to feel just because I didn't want to be hurt, but if I never been hurt then how would I know joy? So, I am happy to feel again. Now that I am aware of myself, my awareness is bringing more of that...awareness. Mindfulness really allows you to sit back, analyze and observe yourself. Start looking at yourself and studying yourself and the world around you will make so much more sense. I share this because I want you to challenge your self limiting beliefs and to gain an understanding on if you are living out others beliefs or your own. I hope this allows you to clear unwanted negative thoughts and helps you to create beliefs to assist you in your personal growth. Don’t be shy, I'd love to hear from you. Please share your comments and experiences. #Reprogram #Positivethinking #Selfcare #Fyp 4/6/2021 0 Comments What’s on your mind???What’s on your mind????
If you have doubts and your mind is asking all of doubtful questions here’s a little trick. -First, stop the thought once you recognize it. -Second, flip that thought into to the opposite. -Third, repeat until it feels natural. If you feel resistance towards the oppressive sentences or questions running 🏃🏽♀️ through your mind it’s because you don’t believe it yet. You can then try pulling out the positive adjectives in the sentence and repeat. Words hold power so this will still help you to stay positive. Here is an example. Why am I so dumb? Can be changed to Why am I so smart? Now let’s say you just did something that you think is dumb, your mind may resist this belief. This is where you would pull out the word smart and just repeat it. This allows you to adjust to the frequency of that word. Try it out and share your feedback. Don't be shy, I'd love to hear from you. #Positivethinking #Mentalhealth #Selfhelp #Fyp |
